While working as the head of video production for a Bay Area-based creative agency, I pitched the idea of covering the second annual Silicon Valley Comic Con. Co-founded by Stan Lee and Steve Wozniak, SVCC was, at the time, the San Francisco Bay Area's first and largest multi-genre convention. Upon receiving our press credentials, I led a crew comprised of myself as the main videographer and editor, a backup videographer, a sound technician, a co-producer, and a production assistant through a fun-yet-exhausting weekend filming and interviewing some of the most important figures in pop culture (including Drew Struzan, Buzz Aldrin, and Adam Savage). This is a one-minute trailer I put together the day after the convention ended to promote the full coverage video.
